CDJHM mourns the passing of our founder, mentor, and friend, Dr. Michael Lozman on 10/11/2024
To honor his memory, the Capital District Jewish Holocaust Memorial is accepting donations in Dr. Lozman’s name. Your contribution will help continue his lifelong work of promoting Holocaust education and preserving history for future generations.
Dr. Lozman’s vision, energy, commitment, and intelligence will be sorely missed. His commitment to remembering and honoring those lost in the Holocaust, to preserving the burial grounds of those who perished, to building a permanent memorial in the Capital District, and to teaching the lessons of what can happen from unchecked hate will give us the strength to ensure that his dream comes true. The Memorial will be a legacy to his vision that will long endure. May his memory be a blessing, and may he rest in peace.
The mission of the CDJHM, Inc. is to memorialize the six million Jews and other victims of the Holocaust, and educate the public about the consequences of hatred, brutality and apathy.
